Submissions are now closed, and judging will soon be underway. This is going to be an EXTREMELY difficult contest this year, we have a lot of amazing entries. Winners will be announced on November 18th!
Welcome to our 2013 Halloween costume contest!
The Haunted Knoll Awards are an annual Halloween costume contest, where you can submit pictures of your best costumes and win cash prizes, while helping a great cause!
Entry is absolutely FREE, and for each of the first 1,000 entries, $5 will be donated to Kids In The Spotlight. That's right, by simply submitting your best costume photo, you can help raise thousands of dollars for Kids In The Spotlight, and further their commitment to train youth in foster care programs to create, write, cast, and star in their own short films.
And . . . An all-star panel of judges (include Academy Award winning costume designers/makeup artists) will judge the submissions.
AND . . . The winners of each category will receive a cash prize!

Entering is as simple as 1-2-3.

2. Click on the confirmation link in the email you receive.
There is no fee, or purchase necessary, to enter the Contest. Each image submitted must comply with the following requirements:
|(a) Each image must be in digital format to be accepted; however, scanned images are acceptable.
(b) The maximum upload size is 4mb.
(c) Photographs must have been taken within five (5) years before the date of entry and must not have been submitted to the Haunted Knoll Awards on previous years.
(d) The image must not have been altered in any way, except that cropping and color correction is acceptable.
(e) The image must not, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
(f) The image must not be watermarked.
(g) The image must be of you, or alternatively, of a child of whom you are the parent or legal guardian, or of your pet, or of your house, or of a pumpkin that you decorated. If the photo also includes the likeness of any third party, then you must have a release from each such third party authorizing the submission of their likeness to this contest pursuant to the Official Rules set forth hereunder. If any third party in the photo is a minor, then you must have a release from the patent or legal guardian of such minor authorizing the submission of the photo pursuant to the Official Rules set forth hereunder.
Each entry must be the original work of the entrant submitting it and must not have been submitted in any other competition or won any previous awards. Moreover, the entry must not have been previously published or marketed, and it must not infringe the third party rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, and right of privacy and publicity. You may enter more than once, provided that you submit no more than one entry for each costume design.
All materials submitted in conjunction with an entry shall become the property of HauntedKnoll.org upon submission, and none will be returned.
